Prices and awards Turning Torso

Turning Torso has received several prices and awards:

International Concrete federation fib situated in Lausanne, Switzerland, has rewarded HSB Turning Torso with ”fib Award for Outstanding Structures 2006”.

The price is given every fourth year. The jury said that the HSB Turning Torso was the most technical and spectacular cconcrete building which has been built (and finished building) during the last four years.

Emporis.com, the largest internet websight in the world for skyscrapes, has rewarded HSB Turning Torso to the winner of 2005 as ”Emporis Skyscraper Award” for”The best new skyscrape”.


Turning Torso has also been featured in the CTBUH Best Tall Buildings Book and it was celebrated at the CTBUH 14th Annual Awards Symposium in Chicago, 2015.

Prices and awards Turning Torso 2015: Santiago Calatrava’s Turning Torso Wins Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat’s 10 Year Award Completed in 2005, the tallest skyscraper in Scandinavia has proven its performance over the last decade.
